Unlike modern Minecraft, which features no built-in objective, Survival Test 0.30 was built like a classic arcade game. Players earned points for defeating mobs. Upon dying, the game ended permanently, and a "Game Over" screen displayed the player's final score. Points were awarded based on the type of enemy killed: 120 points Creepers: 200 points Spiders: 105 points Health and Damage

The journey to began on September 1, 2009 , with the release of Classic 0.24_SURVIVAL_TEST . This initial test was a radical departure, introducing hostile mobs like zombies, skeletons, and the iconic creeper. However, access was initially restricted to premium members who had paid €9.95 for the game.

Survival Test 0.30 was a terrifying experience because of its aggressive mob AI. Mobs spawned constantly, even in daylight, and ran at incredible speeds to hunt down the player.

These were the fastest mobs in the game, moving at the same speed as the player. 3. World Generation and Mining

Even the infamous was perfected here. In earlier tests, Creepers were brown and less explosive. In 0.30, they got the green texture and the signature hiss. Without 0.30, there would be no Creeper mascot.
