Research communities can be excellent sources of practical knowledge. For example, the Alliance of Genome Resources forum has a discussion where a user describes their settings: "We use the PC-10 capillary puller (step 1 mode, 59 C) with the Narishige GD-1 capillaries. We center the capillaries to get two needles out of each". While not a full manual, these notes offer empirical calibration data. Dedicated forums can uncover real-world notes and tips from other users.

Technically, yes. Practically, no. The PC-10 is deceptively simple. Without the manual, here is what typically goes wrong:

: An integrated cover shields the glass capillary from air currents and drafts during the pulling process, preventing external environmental factors from affecting the final tip shape.

For consistent results, the glass capillary must be perfectly centered within the heating coil. Users should loosen the heating element positioning screw to align the heater block before tightening.

The objective of the game is to be the first player to get 5 in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Each player gets a card with numbers arranged in a 5x5 table, and is required to marker the announced number. The computer then calls out a number and each player then marks the called letter on their card if it is present. If a player has 5 in a row they call out “BINGO” (by pressing the shout button).
