Between 1984 and 2010, hundreds of Thomas magazine comics and annuals were published, many featuring original stories not seen in the TV series. The Archive has systematically scanned and indexed these, saving them from decay.

The Sodor Workshops Archive is a conceptual and digital repository dedicated to documenting, creating, and preserving the technical and historical blueprints of the Island of Sodor's rolling stock and infrastructure. Inspired by real-world locomotive works like Crewe or Swindon, the term "Sodor Workshops" refers to the fictional repair and construction facilities on Sodor—primarily the Crovan's Gate Works.
