Ten strangers—each guilty of a past murder that the law couldn’t touch—are lured to a desolate island off the Devon coast under false pretenses. Their host, the mysterious U.N. Owen, is absent. After dinner, a gramophone recording accuses each of them by name. Then, one by one, they begin to die according to the eerie nursery rhyme, "Ten Little Soldier Boys." As the weather traps them, paranoia festers. The killer is among them. But who?
