“If you were to rely upon Allah with true reliance, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds — they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.” (Tirmidhi) — this inspires hope. Yet he also warned: “By Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.” (Bukhari) — showing even the best of creation feared falling short.
