PETKA is an unofficial, community-developed merger of the original OEM electronic parts catalog systems (for Volkswagen Group) and PET (for Porsche). It provides a unified platform for accessing comprehensive spare parts information, including part numbers, illustrations, prices, and VIN decoding for vehicles from the Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Porsche, and Commercial Vehicles brands.

One of the most common issues is a sudden deactivation. This typically occurs when a major hardware component is changed or if the software's license mechanism has a time-based component. If your PETKA suddenly deactivates and you already have an old key, you can sometimes reactivate it using the same key.
